This is exactly the question i find myself
asking in my head
with regard to Monkeypants Juniors 1 & 2
on quite a regular basis.
As it is now school holidays
here in sunny Brisneyland
i can only imagine how many times
i shall think it, over the next fortnight.
So not being a fan of cussing
at one's children god forbid they
should repeat it back to me
or out in public,
i usually verbalise -
"what just happened here?"
and sometimes i throw in a "dude"
to show i am a way cool monkey mum.
Most of the time i have to hide the fact
that i am laughing at their antics.
I don't like to have parent rage -
it's too exhausting and
they will already have way enough
stuff for their adult therapy sessions.
Monkeypants Junior #2 already walks around saying
"What The?" with magnificent animation i might add.
Eye rolling, shoulder raising and hands in the air.
Sensational stuff.
I love having junior monkeys in my life -
everything else makes
more sense now :)
