Please feel free to quote me as much as you like. Obviously, i'm not a man but i'm guessing this quote extends to the ladies as well.
I'm also thinking this is intended as some type of insult but really what kind of weirdo would take offence at anything to do with the monkey?

Oh boy, that takes me back.
I was working in Mount Isa when Monkey got its first run on the ABC and the tv room was always packed when it was on.
i was in highschool i'm pretty sure when it came out - we loved this show too. Our neighbour was Singaporean and would take her two boys like 9 & 11 and my brother and i 10 & 12 to the Asian cinema to see freaky movies. She would leave the 4 of us and piss off then come back and collect us later after seeing one of her boyfriends. I remember one of those movies was set in Hong Kong and a guy was killing women, using a mig welder to burn off their nipples and some other bits and then dumping them in 44 gallon drums. It was delightful for 4 non teens to watch in subtitles. So i think seeing Monkey years later was a welcome reprieve :) xxx mp
